Local public health units are reminding parents and guardians that 12- to 17-year-olds must receive their first COVID-19 vaccination by Saturday, July 24 to ensure they are eligible for their second dose and be fully vaccinated by Labour Day – just in time for school.

Thames Valley high schools are getting ready to offer students entering Grade 9 next year a sneak peek into the secondary school experience with the Board’s free, two-day High School, Here I Come!  program.
Last year, a record 3,000 students enrolled in the popular program that offers tips, hints and skills for new students, says Program Supervisor Paul MacGregor, who expects strong enrolment this summer.
